Communication

All global participants that touch a particular order are able to instantly collaborate through our Logistics Activity Stream℠(LAS).  You may also organize a secure user group, with a single stream of communication related to an order or shipment. This allows instantaneous exchange of information for increased productivity.

Improved communication with our LAS is accessible on your smartphone. When customers call for information, you can instantly check the status of an order and respond without calling all participants, which is very time consuming.  Stores and/or customers can be given access to LAS so they can track shipment status and make comments regarding a specific order.

The system can communicate shipment tenders to each carrier. Then that carrier can accept, reject or schedule deliveries. They may also update check calls, post any unexpected delays and revise the proof of deliver (POD). This will activate the auto payment process for the contract on that load.

LAS can also be used to attach all types of documents related to the shipments, such as photos of vendor compliance or shipment claims, and even videos where applicable. For example, a shipment is damaged, so the receiver snaps a picture and attaches it to the stream. The recipient then clicks on the claims document, attached to the damaged shipment number, for all connected to review and settle in a timely manner.

A user may also review LAS to identify and possibly avoid future problems. Correcting delays in continuous issues related to a product, packaging, carrier, or dock has never been easier.  Mobile interaction is a necessity today so each user can quickly track shipments and communicate while on the run. Real time weather and traffic issues can be updated in LAS to improve customer satisfaction.
